Minato is one of the most authentic sushi bars in Cape Town. Opened in 1996, it’s owned by a family from Hong-Kong who decided to settle in South Africa in the 1990s. The sushi here is indeed exceptionally fresh tasty, particularly the salmon which arrives from Norway every week. You can be sure your sushi is cooked with love, nicely arranged on the plates by a very generous man. It is an absolutely ‘must come’ place for all the sushi lovers.
